DJ Scoots and Bikes are now please to be able to offer Restriction Kits to restrict the power output of many different models of motorcycle to 33bhp (25kW).
allowing A class licence holders to legally ride motorcycles which could otherwise be too powerful. making the bike choice available to them much larger.
The Legal Bit
All restriction units are supplied to us fully certificated and meet all the legal requirements needed you will receive a certificate to prove this work has been undertaken and your bike is restricted to the legal requirements
These certificates are recognised and accepted by the police and insurance companies
It dose also mean if a motorcycle is purchased in restricted form that the new owner would need to have the motorcycle checked to ensure that the restriction kit is still correctly fitted.
As the certificate is a legal document it would only be admissible in court if the details are up to date with the correct riders detail
